New Construction Training (30 hrs MRC)

Newly Constructed HouseThis three day extensive training program will enlighten you on the liability of new construction inspection and enhance your performance inspection experience with code knowledge. You will learn the facts of new construction, from the personalities involved, to the technical details of the inspection and building process. We will train you on how to understand construction drawings and specifications and the need for understanding the same. You will gain the ability and expertise of comprehending truss engineering documents, anchor hardware specifications, concrete placement requirements, to mention just a few.

  • Wall framing, wall sheeting, floor framing, ceiling joists, roof/floor trusses, structural straps, tie downs, anchor bolts, pull out tests.
  • Plywood sheeting installation, fireplace framing, proper eave and ventilation construction.

  • Insulation & Caulking
         . Rigid insulation, blanket insulation, blow-in insulation.
         . New products on market, vapor barriers, caulking for air, infiltration.
